Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to MOTIVE Business Growth Consultancy digital products, workshops, consultations, and Systems & Implementation services. Where a signed proposal, quotation, statement of work, or service agreement contains different project-specific terms, that agreement will govern the engagement to the extent of the difference.

Digital products

Because digital products provide immediate access to downloadable or streamed materials, purchases are generally non-refundable once access has been delivered, except where required by law or where the product was not delivered as described.

Virtual workshops

Workshop registrations may be transferred to another person before the event. Refund requests should be submitted before access details are delivered. Missed sessions are not automatically refundable.

Face-to-face workshops

Registration may be transferred to another attendee before the event. Refund requests will be considered based on the timing of the request and any non-recoverable event costs.

Business Growth Consultations

Payment is required to confirm a consultation. Clients may request to reschedule by providing at least 24 hours’ notice. Payment may be transferred to one rescheduled session but is not refundable for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled consultation.

Clients who fail to attend a scheduled consultation without notice are not entitled to a refund. A new consultation will require a new booking and payment. Once a consultation has been completed, the fee is non-refundable.

If MOTIVE must cancel or reschedule a consultation and a mutually suitable alternative cannot be arranged, the client will receive a full refund of the amount paid for that consultation.

Systems & Implementation Projects

Systems & Implementation projects are customized to each client. Payment schedules, milestones, and deliverables will be outlined in the applicable proposal, quotation, statement of work, or service agreement.

Unless otherwise stated in the applicable agreement, a deposit is required before work begins and becomes non-refundable once MOTIVE has commenced discovery, planning, design, development, or other project work.

If a client cancels a project after work has begun, the client remains responsible for payment for work completed and costs incurred up to the effective cancellation date. Where payment has been made for work that has not yet commenced, MOTIVE will review the project status and determine whether any portion is refundable after deducting amounts attributable to completed work, committed resources, and non-refundable third-party costs.

If MOTIVE is unable to complete an agreed project, the parties will first attempt to determine an appropriate alternative, including transfer of completed work where applicable. Any refund due will relate only to the portion of contracted work that MOTIVE has not completed.

Client-requested changes outside the agreed scope may require additional fees and/or changes to the project timeline. These charges are not considered part of the original project fee.

Cancellation by MOTIVE

If MOTIVE cancels an event, registrants will be offered a new date, credit, or refund. If an event is rescheduled, registrants may transfer their registration to the new date.
